10 Brands to Follow and Support During Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Since 1985, October has been National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 2022 marks the 37th year we’ve honored the women and men who have fought bravely against this disease, and One Posh Closet and Queen Anna are proud to band together to help those continue that courageous fight.

From that very first year, National Breast Cancer Awareness Month has rallied together companies, organizations, and individuals who have raised funds for groundbreaking research and breast cancer charities.

Beyond the monetary level of recognition, the color pink has been synonymous with breast cancer awareness. People and businesses from all over have been known to switch their branding colors to pink to show their unwavering support during the month. These brands are some of the biggest heavy hitters out there who are showing their solidarity with breast cancer warriors.

In conjunction with the Clara Lionel Foundation, Savage X Fenty is donating to the Keep A Breast Give Back Grants program to support BIPOC women who are breast cancer survivors or who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. The duo created some flashy hot pink and pink duds we wouldn’t mind adding to our closet.

Jewelry line Gorjana has “think pink” on the brain. For the entire month of October, a 50% portion of every purchase from their Pink Collection will be donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. These soft pink pieces are timeless and for a great cause.

Leave it to David Yurman to take an iconic piece and make it for good. The often-loved Renaissance Bracelet has transformed into a vibrant shade of pink for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The company will donate 20% of the purchase price from the bracelet to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Bonus: David Yurman will be donating these proceeds until July 23, 2023.

One Posh Closet and Queen Anna favorite Chan Luu is also getting in on the community action for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Chan Luu has come out with a collection with all things pink, from earrings to bandanas. 50% of the purchase from this line will go directly to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Alternative has come out with one of the best loungewear/athleisure pieces we’ve seen this year. Sold on Bloomingdales, the strength-signaling graphic was made by Donald Robertson. This piece will also be helping the Breast Cancer Research Foundation tremendously through a portion of sales donations.

Aside from the necklace’s awesome design, we love Hey Harper more for the selflessness of donating 100% of the necklace’s profits to BIG Against Breast Cancer, an international organization determined to fight breast cancer with more trials and research. Those are big moves we totally commend.

Just like Hey Harper, Sézane has generously joined the game for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The French-based design house has opted to donate all of the profits from their Gaston Square Scarve to the Pink Ribbon Foundation in the UK and Europe and the Women’s Cancer Research Fund in the US.
